AEMG have recently completed a Pre-development site survey and Arboricultural Report in compliance with BS5837 for the University of Birmingham. AEMG have recently completed a trial trench to investigate the extent of the roots within the root protection area (RPA) of a Mature Beech tree. We used an Air spade and soil vacuum to ensure any roots encountered were not damaged. This method was used to investigate if the Beech tree could be retained next to the new development. Any roots found were wrapped in damp hessian so they didn’t dry out.
Two dates for ROLO Health and Safety Awareness courses are already planned for the beginning of 2017 – Wednesday 21st January Sheffield and Wednesday 1st February Redditch. AEMG are running 2 ROLO courses to kick off the new year, one in Sheffield and one at their Head Office in Redditch which is just 5 minutes from junction 3 of the M42.
The Sheffield course is scheduled for Wednesday 25th January with the Redditch training day following a week later on the 1st February 2017.
