AEMG complete BS5837 for the University of Birmingham
AEMG have recently completed a Pre-development site survey and Arboricultural Report in compliance with BS5837 for the University of Birmingham. The University of Birmingham is constantly expanding and improving facilities on campus but also knows the importance of its campus trees. Trees on development sites need correct protection in compliance with BS;5837 to ensure they stay healthy. Soil compaction is the main issue on development sites which has a detrimental effect on the health of the roots. Often the tree does not start to decline straight away, sometimes taking several years to show above ground symptoms. In severe cases soil compaction can result in the death of the tree.
